SLSF Frisco Reweigh Dates:

SE-17 Roman Style, Black, 1965-1980 Dates
SE-18 Roman Style, White, 1965-1980 Dates
SE-19 Gothic Style, Black and White, 1970-1979 Dates

These sets cover some of the more popular Frisco Reweigh dates that I see out there in photos and also shown to me by my extensive network of Frisco friends. What's the difference between these sets, and why do you need them? Read on, my freind.

SE-17 consists of Roman style stencil letters in BLACK. Dates from 1965 through 1980 are included, every month, and both dashed and non-dashed versions are in there. The dates are laid out with the most common TY code as one piece. (TY is Tennessee Yard in Memphis, TN) There are other locations in the sheet as well, including:
SN (Springfield North Yard in Springfield, MO)
EN (Enid, OK)
TU (Tulsa Yard, OK)
SS (Sand Springs, OK)
SF (Springfield, MO)

I stopped there, since these sets get too big too fast.

SE-18 consists of Roman style stencil letters in WHITE. Dates from 1965 through 1980 are included, every month, and both dashed and non-dashed versions are in there. The dates are laid out with the most common TY code as one piece. (TY is Tennessee Yard in Memphis, TN) There are other locations in the sheet as well, including:
SN (Springfield North Yard in Springfield, MO)
EN (Enid, OK)
TU (Tulsa Yard, OK)
SS (Sand Springs, OK)
SF (Springfield, MO)

SE-19 consists of Gothic style stencil letters in both BLACK and WHITE. Dates from 1970 through 1979 are included, every month, in a dashed style. These sans-serif letters were very common with TU Tulsa Yard in OK. I also threw in some TY codes for Tennessee Yard in Memphis, TN.

Now, before you send me hate mail about how X SLSF station was left out of Y date was omitted or Z style of lettering is missing... Stop. This sheet is aimed at late 60s modelers through the 80s, when it was common to see the Frisco reweighs all over the place, including many non-SLSF cars. Whether you model the Frisco or other railroads, the SLSF carmen were apparently busy looking for cars to reweigh. This selection is based on real photos, but the sets will never be all things to all people. I wanted some of these reweighs for my ICG world, and made a few extras for the modelers out there who need the same.

The SE-17 and SE-18 sets each have enough reweighs for over 360 cars. The SE-19 set has enough for 240 cars.

These Alps decal sets are printed in white and black, as shown.

Available in HO Scale.
