Illinois Central Gulf 40' Mechanical Department Training Boxcar 1978+

This decal set can be used to model the ICG 101500 MOW Boxcar used by the the Mechanical Department for Training purposes. This boxcar was repainted in 1978 by the McComb MS shops. In HO, a Branchline 40' boxcar with 6' door can be used as the starting point to model this car. Note the Pullman Standard ends used on the prototype car -- these are available from Intermountain as parts. The ICG 101500 has orange sides, ends and roof with black underframe and trucks.

Enough lettering is supplied to letter the one car. This boxcar travelled the ICG system -- I have seen photo evidence of the car in Woodcrest (Chicago IL), Fulton KY, Paducah KY and McComb MS.



The decal set is printed in black and white. A lettering diagram is included.
