Illinois Central Gulf GSC Flatcars 1972+

The IC and GM&O brought over 1000 examples of General Steel Casting flatcars to the ICG merger. The various classes include: 42'6" (ex-GM&O), 52'6" (ex-IC and GM&O), 52'6" low bulkhead (ex-IC), 52'6" high bulkhead (ex-GM&O) and 60'0" (ex-IC).

This set includes enough lettering for four different cars. A decal diagram is included illustrating examples of all 5 possible classes of ICG repainted cars.

In HO, 53'6" models are available from Walthers and Tichy, and a 60'0" model is available from Tangent Scale Models.
