Illinois Central Gulf Locomotive Names

The Illinois Central Gulf assigned names to their 1974 order of forty GP38-2's and their 1975 order of four SD40-2's. The engines were named after prominent figures in History and the ICG Railroad.

This decal set contains one pair of each of the 44 names. These engines wore their names until repainted the gray & orange or IC New Image Black. With ICG's non-aggressive repainting, many of the engines survived into the late 1980s in Orange & White.

This set is printed in black.
