GATX Leasing 8000 Gallon Welded Tank Cars 1960s-1970s+

This decal set contains lettering for General American 8000 Gallon Welded Tank Cars. GATC produced these cars between 1948 and the 1950s. In HO, two beautiful new models have been released by Tangent Scale Models: have been released by Tangent Scale Models:
1948 Design GATC 8000 Gallon Welded General Service Tank Car
1952 Design GATC 8000 Gallon Welded General Service Tank Car.

The prototype cars are painted black.

The decal set is aimed at the cars built in the 1948-1957 window, but repainted in the 1960s and 1970s. Various dates and COTS are included for the 1970s guys.

Enough lettering is supplied to letter two different cars.





The decal set is printed in white. A lettering diagram is included.
