Chicago & North Western GATC 2600 Airslide Covered Hoppers 1955+

This decal set allows you to letter C&NW's earliest GATC 2600 cu.ft. Airslide Covered Hoppers. In HO, models from Athearn, Walthers, Eastern Car Works or Con Cor can be used. The cars were painted light gray with black roof hatches, black bay (between the centersills) and black trucks.

Enough lettering is supplied to letter 2 different cars. These cars use the "early" Airslide body style.

Lots of extra lettering is included to give modelers options into the later 1950s, 1960s+, as the C&NW purchased the cars from GATC and reweighed/patched out the GACX reporting marks... These cars survived through the 1980s.

The decal set is printed in black, white and red. A detailed lettering diagram is included.
