St. Louis - San Francisco (SLSF) Frisco GATC 4180 cu ft Airslide Covered Hopper 1965+

This decal set will help you letter one SLSF GATC 4180 cu.ft. Airslide Covered Hopper. In HO, Tangent Scale Models makes an exquisite model. The prototype was painted gray, and had black bays, centersills, draft gear and trucks.

The Frisco rostered 58 cars, spread over seven orders from GATC in 1965 and 1972, series 81900-81957. The cars served well into the BN era.

Enough lettering is supplied to letter one complete car. I packed in as much data as I could on the sheet, including the early 1965 order's Roman CAPY lettering, and later series condensed GATC-style letters. All you have to do is supply the ACI label if needed for your era. (Yes, I make ACI Labels! Check out my SE-14 decal set...)



The decal set is printed in black, white and red. A lettering diagram is included.
