Illinois Central Gulf Sand Cars 1972-1987

ICG converted many ex-GM&O and IC 2 bay covered hoppers to non-revenue diesel sand service. These cars were painted orange and wore a variety of lettering schemes.

This HO decal set includes enough lettering for two different sand cars. It is approprate for the Bowser and Kato 2 bay ACF cars. It covers the different ICG schemes, including the 1972 spelled out lettering, 1978 Simplified, and 1979 Simplified.

This decal set includes all of the lettering you will need, except for COTS plates, ACI labels, and inspection dots. These are all optional and vary depending on your era.
